Ran through from Green Valley Lake to Fawnskin in big bear. Trip was cut short when a jeep coming up the trail overheated its transmission. I had to drag him out and up the trail a bit with the new winch. Then his trans cooled off and I led him out to make sure he made it.

def. Getting darker by the day about 6 min. A day. Sunsets at 630 pm here but is very low on horizon.
I love the manual tranny. A little weird getting used to at first. Def different than my 89 yota. I love the Atrac with the OR. Also got to use my rear locker once on the way up. Super narrow trail and acquired a crazy amount of pinstripes through the lower terrain. Lots of alders and willows. Totally worth it though. Had an amazing northern light show the night before.

I just spent three weeks in the Four Corners area and got some gnarly 4LO miles on my new truck. Straight out of the box, lowered the tires to 24/25 and she went anywhere and everywhere I pointed her. This is one incredibly capible truck!

First two pics are the road to Chicken Corners west of Moab, last pic is the South Draw Rd between Capitol Reef National Park info center, Frutia and Hwy 12 north of Boulder, UT. Gnarly freakin’ unmaintainer road.

Attached pic: Crawl control is hot chit!

Took my 3 week old out for the second and third time. Totally surprised myself with what this truck can do stock.

Some 2 track and Forrest roads in the Santa Ritas 8DF1CF6C-8A63-42EE-889A-3909A3091B2B.jpg

A gnarly “road” to a climbing area in the whetstone mountains. 4Lo essential for the entire visible road below. Ground clearance, axel articulation, steep off-camber, were all no problem 59EA7F39-7AA2-4DAF-AF1F-12F9BEED8914.jpg

How is it in snow? Do we need to add ballast in the back to maintain control?

Just a trail, but I tried out all the offroad functions. I am going to make an effort to go to either Hidden Falls or more likely Big Bend in the very near future.

5 day old Tacoma TRD Off Road 300 miles. Took her to pop her off road cherry. Got some scratches from tree branches, and broke off the factory tube step slider. All in all I would say it was a good day on the trail.

    Are you in TX?

I know the feeling. Almost everything in Louisiana is fenced off and posted. Really hard to find a place to Off Road if you don't know someone.
