Yeah it was two separate meets. Sorry that happened tony! I do hope it was just a miscommunication.

It may be that. But if someone organizes and event, should not ignore messages or just turn off the cell phone. Unless there is noone else to be expected to be there. It’s all good

IMG_1484.jpg Also bought some gutter guard and cut it down to fit my windows since most of the time I sleep in the 4runner when camping

There’s also a group on FB who passes out cards. I think our “tacomaworld.com” sticker thing is cool enough.

I hope you weren’t too pissed. The last meet I went to only had one guy show up, but he was mad cool.

    Lookin’ clean!!

No one knew you were coming. I posted multiple times and you never said you were. If you responded, I would have known. It was certainly not to intentionally ignore you. It was not just 4Runners otherwise it wouldn't have been posted on this page.

This might be a bit of a reach for you guys, but I’ll be at Nuzbacks on Tuesday. Tentative 2-3p. Maybe longer if my friend shows up. No where near the caliber of Frisco, but it’s still a nice tiny hangout. Cheap drinks / “pretty good for a bar” type food. I’ve seen some 1st gen owners park near each other down here. They’re too cool to say hi.

It seems as though that even the mods of this forum have crossed over from Tacomas to 4Runners. My sister has this year’s SR5 and I have to say it’s pretty cool. We both need reliability and have jobs that require you to be present no matter the weather.

So you figured we would be waiting outside for someone we didn't know was coming? Cool, got it. Do you respond to party invitations or just show up? Everyone was welcome but no we weren't standing around a parking lot waiting when no one could take the time to reply. Yes, that is your fault. My phone was not off, you didn't text, you messaged me here which gives me no notification. No I wasn't on my phone waiting for a message from anyone that couldn't take the time to let me know they were coming. I was enjoying g the company of the people that did respond. Again, all it would have taken was you contacting me saying you were coming and this wouldn't have happened.

I hope so. It's simple courtesy. Not like a camping or wheeling trip where everyone is outside and easy to find. We would have loved to have had you there but who knew you were coming? Responding is simple common courtesy that's it. I owe you a beer next time and like I said, I'll be sure to post my cell number so anyone that shows up unexpectedly can find us.

I hope you can join us at our tacomas (and anyone who want to come) meetings some time. No confirmation required, just show up, normally our orginizers have a lot of common sense, thats why we keep coming to the meetings. Hope you had a lot of fun today. Now lets stop talking about this and lets move on
