What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Added flag decals, then stepped back and realized that the chrome Tacoma emblem stuck out like a sore thumb... I pulled it off with the intent to paint it black, but then right at the last minute decided to go gun metal instead.

My truck always plays music from my iphone the moment I climb in it and start the engine. Why does it do that?
Then I have to reach into my jeans, pull out my phone, and press stop playing.
Is there a way to disable this? I mean I like to have my phone connected to the bluetooth for calls, etc. But I don't want it to play music all the time.

 

You could probably turn your Bluetooth off for starters, if you don’t use it.

Did you paint your bushwhacker flares? I got mine. Don’t know what I’m going to do. They are a little scratched up from shipping.

 

Mine did too, which I actually liked, until we synched my wife's phone too. Now when I get in I have to hit play in my music app first...otherwise calls/texts/email only. I have a galaxy s6 and my wife has an ancient s4 mini.

Anyone know of a shorter mud flap for the Taco? Unfortunately I’m catching too many rocks on my hunting land and I need to put some flaps on but I don’t want longer flaps. Many thanks....

 

Hey that S4 mini is what I use. Love the size. I just hate having a "tablet" size phone weighing me down. Wish they made a S7 mini.

Maybe when you shut down vehicle, have audio set on xm fm or whatever other than bluetooth audio. I haven't tried this but calls will still come thru I'm guessing

 

Unpair the phone or turn off Bluetooth

 

So today I finished blacking the grill out and also temporarily painted my fender flares until I actually order black ones, also took of the air dam

 

Just need to set your audio to something other than bluetooth. Your phone will still work with bluetooth with no problem. You must have your bluetooth selected as your audio option right now, that’s why it always defaults to what is on your phone.

My little brother played a prank on me and loaded few thousand of those crappy RNB songs like "Rack city b*****" and "It's Tuesday"" into my iTunes account last Christmas, and I haven't been getting the time to undo all what he did, because there is so many clicks you can click on iTunes deleting before your fingers get tired. It was so weird me pulling into my parking structure at work always blasting those music or at the grocery store. I think once I was told to "please grow up" and another time, "my ears bleed", and "are you serious" and people look at me like I grew up in a ghetto.
