31k is a bit high but I bet there's some wiggle room in there. Good luck OP. looks like it's in good shape.

not a red flag, just caution.......my experience has been that when a vehicle is super clean there is something being hidden. either paint flaws, or severely weather plastic......something. every once in a while there is a perfectly good vehicle with nothing wrong...

hard to say without it being in the sun and touching it.

So I was trying to look at kbb to get an idea on the value of this truck and can't figure out how to pick the TRD off road package. All I could find was TRD Pro and sport. Am I missing something?

i used the trd pro listing since the website gives you a range and it says 27,219 to 30,805 with average of 29,219

at least here in Austin Texas.......so it is close to normal high market..

The guy that sold that to the dealer must of been one of the people that bit on the flyers I always get from my local dealer. We will buy your truck back for 120% of Black book value. What ever that is.

Well, it's an Off Road. You can clearly see the diff lock button and the Atrac button. It looks like the frame has been painted because the stock coating on my 2014 Off Road was flat black. That's not a bad thing, just request some pictures of the frame in various locations.
It does seem a little high but the rubber looks like brand new.

If you get more pictures of the frame and it looks good, and it's what you want, jump on it.

I will say, if you're looking for a specific configuration, they can be hard to find.

Others can say better than I can but I think you want pictures of the frame around the rear diff and behind it. They pucker a little back there when real rust starts to form.

    Keep us posted!

Can someone else confirm what winkel said about the frame being repainted?

It does look more glossy than factory. The frame on my truck has never been glossy like that. It's a good possibility. Like he said though it might not be a big deal. It just needs to be looked at closely to make sure it's not an attempt to cover up rust.

I wonder if the frame has been armour alled like the step bars and that's why it has the gloss look? I can't see the frame being repainted unless there was some issues.

That's definitely possible. Many people coat their frames as soon as they get them as a preventative measure.

Not an alarmist here, but don't forget about the recent hurricane and flooding in Texas. There were thousands of vehicles that were submerged for days, in very deep water. Pay for an independent professional inspection to insure that this isn't a flood vehicle. Be very careful...

I put a little polish on a small section of my frame and it gave a pretty good shine. It may be as simple as that.

This Tacoma is listed as having a 2" leveling lift kit, would that be just a 2" kit that is in the front or would that also include a kit being in the rear as well? I'm trying to figure out what exactly it has underneath it.

Most likely that's a 2" spacer on the front.

Edit: Looks really good to me. I'd personally plan on adding 5100's to maintain the level look but get rid of the spacer.

That's what I thought but wasn't sure, maybe a Rough County kit?

I would avoid rough country and just do bilstein 5100's. They aren't too expensive and are much better quality.

I just spoke with the guy and he said that the frame had not been painted and was just cleaned and the lift kit was Rough County kit. If I could only find someone in AR to go and look at it I would pull the trigger on it.

The SR5 is from the tailgate. It was probably replaced due to damage or theft. It should have a very emblem instead of the SR5 emblem. My TRD Sport was the same way. I pulled the SR5 off and replaced it with the correct emblem and added a tailgate lock.
