Spotted at Walmart this morning

It baffles me that guy remembers to breathe...

 

You can get a handicap tag and be able to live a normal life. I am eligible for a handicap tag due to my percentage of VA disability compensation, however, I choose not to get it. I work a full time job and enjoy riding motorcycles, and I would not have any trouble getting in and out of that truck, but I could have a handicap tag if I wanted it.
I hope that the case here is similar to me, but this individual chooses to get the tag. With all the hate going on here, if this person is a member of TW, I am sure they are now too scared to fess up to owning this truck for fear of being flamed for their parking job.

 

I feel that stigma every time I use my plaquard. They see a early thirties man get out of truck. They make faces until they realize I can't walk with out a ton of pain, on those days I use it. When I am feeling good I park far and enjoy the walk.

 

I find quite often that people forget to hang the parking permit from their mirror.

 

Probably In the automotive section, after cashing their Red Cross check.

 

That will get you a ticket here in Illinois.

In CA you can get a handicap tag for a broken leg.

I rarely use my placard to park in spots, I wish someone would take a pic of my truck on one of the days I need to use it. You quickly get told to go fuck yourself.

Idk what’s going on in this post ... isn’t not putting up your placard the same as not having one??? Or is it linked to your license plate and you really don’t have to put it up? I thought only the plates that have the built in disabled logo were linked?

Cause if you don’t put up your placard, I would say ticket away... which brings up another point, if you don’t put it up and get a ticket, can you get the ticket waived?? Or have to pay like a fixit ticket deal? If it’s an honest mistake I get that, but if you deliberately don’t put it up because “fuck everyone else,” your part of the problem in my book.

You must display your placard if parking in a handicap spot. With all of the smart stuff in my Rav, I cannot get the placard around the rear view mirror so it is placed on the dash. In my state the placard is attached to your license. I have been stopped once by the police here to make sure it belongs to who was using it.


I meant that in, I rarely park there unless I need to. Because of instances like this. I am only 40, yet people look at you sideways when they see a younger person parking there.

 

The summons can be waived, but the permit holder has to drive to the issuing agency and show proof. There is no fee, but it motivates the permit holder to properly display it. The one attached to the decals don't need the mirror hanger.
