    Broncos fans aren't that smart. Here is a little back story comparing the Broncos fan base to the Seahawks fan base. I have a friend who flies back and forth from Seattle to Denver to see his kid. He had noticed a difference in the environments regarding the Hawks and the Broncos. I could pass 10 people during the football season and 7 or 8 out of 10 are wearing Seahawks gear. During the offseason that number is probably pretty close to 4-5 out of 10.

    This one particular time he was flying was right before XLVIII. In all of Washington, if you didn't hear, "Go Hawks" from at least one person throughout the day something is wrong. Wherever you go, there are Seahawks merchandise, promotions, etc. Now, once my friend landed in Denver and drove around he didn't see that team support. He saw a disconnect. Now, maybe Denver having won in the past it just isn't that big of a deal, but in Seattle it truly is a culture. Maybe since we lack a NBA and NHL franchise we have very little to cling to, but it is truly exhilarating.
