    Just Google'd the Coordinates for the Sand Dunes. Looks like they are across the road from the Strike Ravine Safari Rte. (Near where Google says the "Behind the Rocks" photo op is located. I see a couple structures/houses at the end of a couple dirt roads. Is this area BLM? I know lots of folks say free camping back there. Just curious if that whole area is free for all for camping.

    It's either that or I try to find a slot at Sand Flates Campground when I get into town Tuesday night.

    EDIT: Also, isn't that Strike Ravin Safari Rte the trail to Area BFE? (Nevermind, yes it is.)

    That area is BFE, where Rock Therapy used to be. Private land.

    Which is BEG? Area BFE or Sand Dunes? o_O

    I know Area BFE was private. But I thought the Dunes perhaps wasn't?

    lol Oh ok. Wasn't familiar with BEG lands - thought maybe you were joking about having to beg for permission to be there. I've been to BFE before. Just realizing the turn off for the Sand Dunes appears to be at the exact same turn off for BFE. Except it's on the other side of 191.

    For those of you camping in Moab i hope you packed warm. It's 25 deg. At my house right now. I know Moab is warmer than us but still I little chilly for this time of year

    Decisions decisions, was going to bring the taco so I could take the wife and little one of TOTW but now I am leaning towards bringing the Sequoia instead so that they are more comfortable. The little one is still just so small at 4 1/2 months.
    @NYCO think the Sequoia could go on the ruins trail or not?
