I hear ya on the DD. Mine is as well. Swisha doesn't look too bad. There was a run recently that a bunch of stock f150's and what not were doing it. Im trying to find a trail up your way. Would be cool to head up that way for a weekend.

Alright so I did that run with no breathers. What fluids should I be changing now that all is said and done and I got mud-filled water in every possible part of my truck

Rear diff is the most prone since the breather is right on the pumpkin. The tranny, t-case and front diff breathers are routed to the engine bay which if you got water there your engine would be messed up. I would say your rear diff for sure, and if your feeling ambitious your could do your t-case and front diff.

On gravel travel it is marked as a bike trip so I guess it is not that bad. Just a long run.

There is a bunch of trails to explore on crown lands, about 2 hours from where I live, a little south of the Zec Pontiac which is part of the loop. I would like to go someday but can't find the time. I mesured around 350km2 of crown land to get lost on. Would be far from your place tho. I might go solo and make a trip report so we know if it worth it.

If we could find a place about half way for the group and half way for me and @Bocsy44 it would be great!

Really? Thats a bit of a relief then, was more worried about the tranny than anything. I feel a lot of vibrations in the gas pedal when I have my foot on it, I have no idea where that came from or if im just being overly sensitive after bashing the shit out of the bottom end of my truck haha

I wouldn't be scare run it stock (I think haha) but a badluck happens so fast! And 6 hours of towing cost so much hahaha!

I never plan on getting towed but its good insurance just incase. no one plans on having their shit destroyed

do the front and rear diff to be safe.
Tcase wouldnt hurt to do anyways since it should be done every 45 000km
trans every 95k roughly but thats one you should be doing through the dealer as its really easy to fuck up and damage stuff. Hell Ski at CT motorsport said he wont even do them anymore cause its too risky. Better to let teh dealer do it and take the blame if they fuck up.

If you're going to keep off roading even with breathers you should be changing diff fluid every year just to be sure. Plus lets you check the plug to see how the diff is. if you see lots of metal etc.

Especially with that water at the end of the trail. That rear diff definitely went under.

If I remember right the 2nd gens need LSD oil in the rear.

    I hear ya man.
I think the whole south trail is a bit tough for a stock truck though. I never did the whole thing stock just the portions in Ardbeg close to camp. Now with lift did the whole thing and it was definitely tough towards the southern portion. Only reason I'd say its so tough is cause it turns into a single track and not much for bypasses.

I was checking those out. Only thing thats a bit nerve racking is there's little reports on them. Doesn't seem like they get used much. But always up for some adventure.

I'll definitely be taking more time off from work next summer to really enjoy the trails. Like take fridays off a lot so we can head out early.

This that and the other thing.
yeah I hear yah haha just need to be carful, take it slow and pick good lines, or at least hope the lines you picked are good hahaha

Yeah there's a couple trails up here but not much to be honest. I think I was talking with @Joe23 about some trails in the White Lake/Calabogie area, the only thing is that I don't think they have camp spots on them but there's lots of crown land in the Calabogie area so I'm sure a spot could be found. not to mention its a beautiful area. If we cant find anywhere to camp my friends live on a piece of property in Perth which is about 50mins away and I'm sure they would let us camp there. There's a trail called Burnt Lands not far from me that I might go check out next summer. There was a good spot to go fool around on that was called Corkstown but that property just sold and from what I have heard they don't want people on it anymore and blocked off the entrance, that one is also connected to Dwyer Hill which is on OF4wd so its kind of a grey area if its all on the same land that's sold or not lol

    LMFAO

    I loved that.
Shortly after you launch your truck off the bridge, that girl with the jeep on 35s shows up and doesn't know what the fuck to do.
