What am I seeing wrong?

 

Having a hard time sleeping tonight.

The story was I needed another engine for my 16' Jon boat. The 9.8 was not enough motor to push it to my satisfaction. My wife told me to go shopping for a new (used) motor. I could find nothing less than $3k for a tiller steer 25 hp type I wanted. Anything that was decent in price was 40 years old.

I stumbled upon the entire boat, trailer and motor for a great price. I couldn't pass up the deal. I bought the boat just for the motor. I swapped motors and have now listed the thing for sale.

I will miss my 9.8. That was just a great running motor... and it was electric start, too.

The newer 25 hp is pull start only, but that is going to be rectified post haste.

Clear? I know, kinda long story.

 

There's normally no problem switching back. I think tonight it's mostly anxiety. Having the urge to check on my son all night.

 

I usually have it down pretty well too, but about 10-15 times a year a need a little extra help. i have some lorazepam prescribed to just turn the head off during bed time.

 

I must have mixed up your boat with someone elses boat and trailer rebuild on here..

 

Well, I do have a drift boat build thread going as well. I like to keep busy.

You are correct. I remember now. He is the one that I informed that his lug nuts were on backwards.

 

is that an easy thing to get backwards??

I've seen it happen a few times. I've also seen were is completely eggs out the holes in the rims.

 

Congrats right back to you. It’s quite the adventure. Wife is kinda hoping for a girl since our 14 m.o. is becoming quite the daredevil already.
