Put the Toyota roof rack on my 2013, made cross rails for the box and mounted a Yakima load warrior to almost double the carrying capacity of my short box

50 series aluminum is garbage metal. Non aircraft use only. We made it into drip pans, and trash cans.

Aluminum is typically an alloy. Made of many reactive components, that dont like each other naturally. Exfoliation corrosion is a natural response in aluminum. Also anytime other dissimilar metals come in contact with each other corrosion will occur. Corrosion prevention methods only buy you time. They will not stop aluminum from rotting.[IMG]

This is an example of exfoliation corrosion. Sry Ford, no thank you...

Vinyl flooring is a great addition. I laid down a bunch of dynamat when I did mine. Makes the truck sound/feel much better.

Yeah i probably should do that. Im sure the cabin is much quieter with that in there. Theres really not much sound deadening in these tacos unfortunately

Nope, not at all. It was a worthy extra $100 spent for sure.

The same shit everyone else has.
Put 150 miles on the cab rack today. Everything from 70mph on the turnpike to bombing around on rutted, dirt roads. Stayed in place on the washboard roads and was surprisingly quiet even at 70mph. Hopefully the light bar doesnt add too much noise.

Drove it 3 hours back from the mountains in Asheville, NC and promptly pulled the silver cladding off the lower front bumper when I got home. Gonna wash it tomorrow and test my skills with some plasti dip.

No exciting pictures but did spark plugs, unifilter for the secondary air injection, as well as carrier bearing drop to correct angles after my fox and Dakar lift!!!
