Alternator.....Battery may be weak now because of alternator. 11 years on a battery is borrowed time.

I have a fascination with VERY cold weather wheelin! Frozen ground is perfect traction. Go a few miles in, build a fire and hang out. I'm ready for Christmas ride. (Mid Dec to Mid Jan) When I was in my 20's we would always do a New Years Day ride.

Yep. Alternator fixed the bad whine. Now pulling 13.8V on the Ultragauge. Hell it was likely just the brushes. Spins freely and quietly by hand.

Still a little 'clopping' sound. Think horses galloping. Hopefully the new idlers take care of that.

I got 10yrs out of the oe battery in my runner. Sealed Panasonic. That thing was a beast. I'm good to camp into the low thirties, hight twenties as long as it's not windy. Lil buddy toasts the tent up nice nice

If my math is correct, that'll be for the 95th annual meet. I may miss that one.

I've completely forgotten about them with work and house shit.

I'll get them if everyone wants an event T. At the beginning, before the meet, when I asked about them, I got shot down.
