I have these holding my license plate on, and then I take it off to go wheeling so it doesn't get mangled. These suckers are STRONG, and the license plate isn't coming off unless you want it to. Even then it'll fight you.

 

I never thought to use a magnet! good idea!

 

I keep it front and center so no risk of being bugged by the police! Down lower and I could barely see it.

 

yea, I am actually in the process of switching my registration over to WV anyways (which only requires 1 plate anyways) but my wife is going to make me a custom front plate that will match my "xxx Edition" bedside decals so I'll still probably end up putting it on and using these magnets!

You could make a metal frame that would keep it from getting bent.

 

I was thinking of making a handle that connects the two magnets, so I pull on that instead of the plate itself. Just haven't gotten around to it, as now I can take it off with minimal bending.

 

that sounds like a lot of work just to keep the plate from bending. havent run a front plate since April 2016, and have never gotten a ticket. *knocks on wood* Its also not a 1st offense in VA.

I think he meant just a metal license plate frame, which I think would work by keeping the whole thing rigid *goes and orders a license plate frame*
