I'm still not convinced a suppressor on a .308 is really worth it though. That can is rated to 140 dB which is still in the instant hearing loss range. While it certainly makes a difference, the practical aspect seems minuscule. Am I missing something?

No can that I know of it rated hearing safe with out ear protection for any center fire rifle.
It definitely knocks down the obnoxious bark of the brake.
    I use them on difference rifles, .223, 6.5 grendel, 308, 260, SBR.

I don't use an aggressive brake on the SASS for that reason, and I'm considering swapping the one that came with my AR15 with a flash suppressor only. A 12 lb .308 really doesn't need a brake either. A suppressor on a pistol carbine however, that makes sense to me

IMO a brake on a precision rifle makes all the difference.

Have you ever shot one? It makes a world of difference. I have a 30 cal can I shoot on 308, 300 BLK and 233 rifles. It makes a ton of difference on all of them. Cans cut recoil immensely, as well as eliminating the muzzle blast. The physical results of pulling the trigger are tamed considerably. Yes, it's still pretty loud. But it's much much nicer.

Everybody is different. The purpose of a brake for me is to increase accuracy as a result of reduced recoil, and/or to allow for faster follow-up shots. A .308 recoil does not impact my accuracy like a .338 Lapua would, and the recoil on a .223 is basically none.

I have not shot one, that's why I'm asking what I'm missing. For me, I want a can so I can take my ears off and shoot inside at night more effectively if the need arises. I tried a night time 3-gun event once and the muzzle flash from an AR is extremely distracting. A suppressed anything is a much better tool for the job.

More power to ya if you can shoot numerous rounds from a non-braked 308 and have it not effect your accuracy.

I like your 10/22s. With the amount of $ you spent on upgrades you might consider a rimfire scope with parallax adjustment. It's certainly not a necessity, but I love having it. It's especially useful for air rifles where the projectile drop is a factor at closer ranges. I have a Leupold EFR on my 77/22 that is perfect for any .22 long rifle.

I have been really happy with the scopes I have on these rifles. They both are topped with Nikon Prostaff Rimfire II 4-12x40 scopes. While the paralax adjustment would be nice, I have no problem hitting targets at 200yds.

Yep, nothing wrong with that. I used cheap fixed power scopes and they work great too. I'm no expert marksman or anything, I just like a super crisp image when .22 plinking. Most .22 target shooters use irons, but that's due to the level/type of competition. The .22 target guns with adjustable parallax scopes can shoot through the same hole one after another.
