What do you need done to yours? Im not the most skilled mechanic by any means, but am familiar with some stuff. Need to get up to speed on adjusting gears and brake flushes though.

Where did the 8.75 come from? I'm only familiar with the slightly larger 8.2 that the 4Runners and FJs are getting as of late. 8.75 sounds nice!

That being said, are there many spots that have some cool drops and jumps at as well? Would be cool to do some freeride stuff.

Big Cedar would be the closest thing to down hill lines. Theres a place thats called Texplex that just opened up that has a lot of man made features thats supposed to be pretty sick. I havent been out there just yet other than to ride the MX track, def on my to do list though.

Hmmm with these thoughts...maybe the nomad might be better suited.

You don't have to tell me, my DH buddies throw out the 29er gay meme like twice a week.

Kinda ironic that Toyota enlarged the rear diff housing to allow different gears, they’ve been replacing many under warranty for damage and making noise, lol.

Does anyone know how strict they are on mods when getting a pre registration vehicle inspection? I need to get mine done this week

What kind of mods are you worried about?

Mud flaps aren't a requirement. Windshield I don't think should be a problem either, based on my previous truck having a huge crack that no one ever said anything about.

As long as that 18 wheeler mod isnt in your line of sight your good and idk why you would be worried about no mud flaps unless you were a dully truck.

Grapevine is great, lots of outdoor activities and plenty of restaurants/bars. If you’re worried about them, I’d be happy to store them on my truck.

In Texas, a windshield isn’t even a requirement (technically). But if you have a windshield, you have to have operating windshield wipers
