First pic looks like you have General Grabber AT2's on, and the second photo shows stock tires. Is the issue with both sets?

Yeah I have changed the new set of tires, I didn’t notice before I changed it because I changed it like a week after purchasing the truck didn’t drive that much. Do you think changing tires would cause the problem?
I didn’t know it would, thought it only affects the balance. This place I where I got the tire changed, they actually did the balancing very carefully

I forgot to mention I have got my tires changed, would it affect the warranty coverage?

Did you get an alignment? A truck pulling to either direction just sounds like an alignment problem to me.

To answer your other question, no, changing tires won't impact your warranty

No I did not since I only had it for 2 months, I don’t do street parking, and never hit my wheels anywhere ever since. I don’t think I have done anything bad to the alignment. But anyways I will bring it to the dealer to get it checked.
Thank you for all the responses.

Most roads tend to slant to the right to shed water to the sides.. At least here in BC.

I have a feeling its a mix of that and the fact the steering is pretty sensitive.

The Tacoma has a fair amount of caster. That combined with the crown of the road tends to pull the wheel. If you ever hit a dip or rut with one tire, you will notice it even more. Also, I believe the steering rack is mounted with flexible isolators which will have some amount of give.

Try driving in the left hand lane on the interstate and see if it still pulls in the same direction. The crown is usually minimal or sometimes goes the other way in the left lane.

Was going to start my own thread but this looks perfect... Same issue, brand new, no 4 wheeling, curbs or bumps yet to throw anything off. Caveat is that I just got new wheels and tires (I was at 800 or so miles). Pull right wasn't noticeable on stock setup (might have been mild). After new setup, truck pulled right. Obviously new tires, right? Doesn't appear that way... America's Tire has been good so far. Swapped front to back and side to side to see if it's the tires. No change, slight improvement on pull, but still pulling right after side to side switch. Ready to order new tires for free if alignment is the issue. Suggested I take it to an alignment shop. They look at it today and tell me there's issues with the front and rear, but don't make any changes b/c they say it should be a warranty issue and Toyota should take care of it. Take specs to Toyota and request an alignment, and they are balking at covering it. Waiting on a call from the "warranty guy".

Pics of alignment shop data is attached... I have no idea how abnormal these numbers are, although I do understand the basics of alignment.

My theory, and that of the alignment shop is that my truck came off the boat not quite right, toyota or third party made adjustments to make it go down the road straight on the stock tires to sell it. Now that new tires are on it, the issues are presenting themselves. Any alignment experts out there that can help with what I have?? Thanks in advance!

So Toyota called back and told me I'll have to pay for the alignment since I have new wheels and tires. I'm beyond pissed. Anyone out there have any info I can use to go back at them? Someone above said one alignment is covered... Where can I find that in writing to show them?

I'm about to head back to america's tire to get the stock wheels n tires put back on and then take it to toyota just out of spite...

Its under warranty for an alignment for up to 12,000 miles I believe. Just take it back to the dealer they'll fix it with no charge

I am talking about the dealer not wanting to fix it under warranty and trying to fully charge me for an alignment...

Just called, they said as long as I have original parts they will do it for free. Told them I have had my tires changed only not the wheels, they said then they can give me a free check only, if its off there will be extra charge to align (bs).
Never knew changing tires causing the alignment problem.

I was always told to get an alignment with new tires/wheels. It changes the geometry of the vehicle so suck it up.

What does yota corporate say, and tell them if they didn't skimp on the tires on these new freaking trucks, folks would have to replace them for something test will get a little traction.

That wasn’t what I was told if you only change the tires. Yes, it’s recommended but not required, you need alignment checked if you hit something hard or your old tires are really crappy that would slightly affect the alignment, and my tires were 1 weeks old I didn’t actually drive it much before changing to the new set. I have friends that works at and owns autoshops that’s what they told me, not trying to bring in an argument just wanted to confirm. We might heard different from other sources, but I did take your opinion and did some researches again, and found these.
    Thank you for your suggestions.

I would agree if you are just swapping tire for tire, no change in mfg or size, like after a flat or something. If you are changing wheel or multiple wheels/tires then you are most likely changing the stance or geometry of the vehicle (tread, offset, size, rotational weight, etc). YMMV but every time I have changed wheels or tires (all) I have done an alignment (unless it was same for same) and never had an issue.

Good luck with it though - look forward to seeing the outcome.

I will chime in on this one as I have the same problem. I purchased my new 2017 TRD Sport 3 weeks ago. I had it delivered to my house, and after I drove it the next day it was the same issue. Pulled to the right if you let off the steering wheel (not terribly put noticeable) and you have to keep the steering wheel cocked to the left to get it straight. So I had purchased a 2017 Rav4 a couple days later for my wife (had it delivered as well so the salesman could drive mine and see what was going as we live over an hour away from the dealer). He test drove it and said yep sure does do that and the confirmed the position of the steering wheel is not correct. So scheduled for them to do the alignment the following weekend. Took it for the alignment and sure enough they gave me the specs and it's still the same. I went ahead and bought new Nitto Terra Grapplers (I was going to change the tires anyway) to see if it would assist, but got them on today and nothing changed. So I guess now to take it to an independent alignment facility. I can deal with the pull to the right, but it's annoying that the steering wheel is crooked with only 400 miles on the truck.

    Thank you,
Yeah, I can always bring it to get the alignment done easily just wanted to find out the real problem, thought it would be helpful for the others.
I drove my old lexus for 9 years, changing tires 3 times only got the alignment done twice for the first time after buying the car because the previous owner screwed up the tires and alignment so badly, and the second time I messed it up myself.
