    Also, I have read on multiple pages you dont need that stupid $30 ipod cable. The one you have will work just fine. Or you can find cheaper options out there. Just a thought.

    Yup. Use a regular ipod cable. you only need a proprietary cable if you are going to use ipod video functions.

    Oh well, no biggie I guess. I may buy it sooner now. I really want this unit. My wife said I could get it for my birthday next month. Its a pretty sweet deal on Amazon. The only problem I have with amazon though is I am not sure they are an authorized dealer and you MAY have warranty issues. Not sure though.

    Besides if something is wrong with it you can could more than likely get it fixed and still be WAY under the suggested price. You'd be saving more than $400!
