This sounds like a design flaw... a major one. Toyota has some explaining to do and maybe some recalls

 

Oh and for those that were wondering i made it up that hill after i got my truck to stop smoking lol. I have video proof

 

Dont think theres much that can be done to fix it

 

Last time I was there @Sandytaco14 got up it with crawl control, was a bit surprised

 

Also yes i am part mountain lion .

 

They could replace all the third gen engines with new v8’s or diesels.

 

I didnt need crawl control, just some extra skinny pedal

Not to bad but my low oil pressure light came on when decending

I'm thinking you had a Leprechaun hiding under there, he'd just taken a big toke of weed out of his lucky pipe and had his lungs full, you rolled over that rock, cracked one of his ribs, and thats where the sound and smoke came from.
