Someone recommended i change the timing belt at 100k. I’m a few hundred miles from it so do y’all think it’s necessary?

It's a chain bro......you're good to go. Just keep your oil changed as it lubricates the timing chain.

I've taken my Tacoma to the dealer at 60,000 and now at 85,000 and both times they've only wanted to do an oil change and tire rotation, no suggestions of anything else other than their normal multi-point inspection. No mention of spark plugs, tranny fluid, etc. Are they negligent or do these things not need taken care of yet?
