I remember you telling me about that truck. Pics of what it looked like back then look great!

When you buy her back, do you think you will use it as a platform for the new project you have been thinking about??

    35's and a Good Time.

Its a tough call man. I went by today and no one answered the door. Ill try again tomorrow.

I would probably just put it back to how it was when I owned it but cleanly done... Its impractical sure. But that's what it was back in the day, and how I remember it you know? It was fun, i would probably build a 383 for it that's pretty stout, go through the trans and tcase and axles. Re do the interior, and I know the front driver frame rail needs some attention at the steering box because I cracked it there and welded it up and than welded some big 1/4" fender washers there to spread the load because I was making $11 an hour back then and I found the broken stuff the day of the mud bogs so we fixed it best we could and loaded it up on the trailer and ran it.

A little background on the truck.... I originally traded my 99 mustang that i built into a race car and spent 2 years with it on the lift working on it between school and work(was working full time before i graduated high school).... I traded that car for this truck, a shotgun, a welder, a pair of cherry bomb mufflers, and a kick in my nuts..... My dad was pissed and told me how dumb i was every single day for a year. Haha. But i was afraid if i blew the mustang up at the dragstrip that i would never have the money to put it back together. So i had a mustang that I had 25k into building and traded it for maybe 8k worth of stuff. Worst financial decision on the face of the planet. However, I had more smiles and laughs in that truck driving it home that day, than i ever had in the mustang after i built it. Although i did get so sick to my stomach That I almost puked when I knew i had to go home and show my dad what a cool thing i did...the car was lots of fun, and so was the truck looking back now....That car was fast, 7500rpm shifts and burnouts on the freeway at 70 is not what a 20 year old kid needs. Lol.

Good luck! I'm selling one of mine and we just dropped a buyer because their credit was garbage and they wanted up to wait another 3-4 months so they can fix their credit before we could close. They wanted to rent the house until they could fix the issues... nope.
