Semi finished another little project today.
Semi finished because I’m waiting for a reply from Decked before I start drilling.

Got a set of PAK clamps for my fishing rods.

Since I didn’t want to drill the side bed walls I went a different route.

I had some extra bed tie downs that I disassembled and used the T bolts from:



Got a bit creative and used a small clamp to get it in, left it at 12 and 6 o’clock:





Semi finished:


Once I get the measurements I’ll secure the bottom bolts, and they’ll be set.

 

Rack and Pinion, and the outter tie rods have been replaced, yet again a major shout out to @TOYTONKA for doing this for me.
We actually found an easier way to drop the R&P out, by taking the 4 bolts out of the the AC compressor and lifting / pushing it out of the way, instead of dropping the dif.

Now for State inspection, alignment and hopefully that will be it for a bit.

Storage for days...

 

you can never have too much storage, I usually have the truck full when im going to Rallycross events, and thats with just two people. if i actually had to bring a third person im not sure what id do.

 

That spot was one I was worried about with the link I posted, I was actually considering my link for the bed above the Decked system I am looking at getting. Blue Ridge Overland has my seats covered, I just need one panel for the drivers side, since I mounted the CB on the passenger side.

I'm pretty excited about this actually, once I get the truck done tomorrow I can get back to mods, though I need to finish my tattoo sleeve that is gonna wait till December when work closes for 2 weeks.

Pfft. I'm the shortest one on my mom's side. You ain't short until you have to take a running and leaping start to get into a ladder truck.

I've just gotten use to it. Short people are useful for small spaces when it come to the fire service.

 

Oh how I have missed our Taco sundays, Thank Homer, it was nice to have more socialization then just the fire house. (Work and school don't count. )

 

Don't have that issue, since I started going to a Personal trainer, my weights been up and down between 186 and 190, loosing fat and gaining muscle

 

I went from 186 to 189 last week. I wish I still had my measurements in inches from before. I lost them during a phone update. I have lost inches, which was my goal. I don't foresee my weight dropping, since muscle weighs more then fat.

 

I'd lift weights, but they're heavy!

 

All done!! What a freaking relief.
