I've been contemplating putting a small diesel in my truck when it hits 300,000 miles which will be in about 4 years. There's a good chance I'll have moved to Oregon for work by then but if I'm still here getting around the DMV will be a giant pain in the ass. If my truck were pre 97(?) it'd be no problem.

That’s the part I’m worried, it’s going to be a money pit. Having the potential donor truck should limit the costs as I won’t have to source all the emissions stuff but exhaust and crossover stuff might get pricey.

I didn’t mention this would get a Supercharger...have a project one sitting in the garage now.

I was looking at that site last night, pretty helpful and takes some of the headache out of trying to find/fab random parts. I think I’d get a full wiring harness to reduce the headache and keep it looking oem.

Thanks for the tips. Yeah I would get the prewired harness to help with that issue. Luckily no fuel tank swap with this conversion.

im being serious. I want to see this new pic. remember im living off you fucks as im couch surfing and having dirt road withdrawals. No 4x4 at the moment.
Although I rolling in a 5.7 tundra its only 2 wheel drive but pulls the boat like a champ.
The parts for LT are building, and the old stuff is coming off slowly.

I really really do not want a calendar with parking lot photos. Don't be scared to go click some like buttons.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
That's one reason I'm not looking forward to going back to an actual base. I'm going to miss my coushy life working at the Boeing facility

Silver Lake, June Lake Loop. That is one of our favorite fall color trip stops. Excellent stream, mountain, and lake shooting, and the best damn omelettes on the eastern slope right across the road.

I hiked Mt Langley this past weekend. The trail head is 10,000 feet, summit is 14,049 feet. 25 miles round trip with 4600 feet of elvation gain. We left Fremont at 3pm Friday and arrived at Cottonwood Lakes Trail Head at 11pm. We woke up at 6:30, ate, started to hike at 8:06. We stopped at Cottonwood lakes #4 at 10:45am, set up camp and continued on at 11:15. We reached the top around 4 or 5 and returned to camp at 7:30, ate and went to sleep around 8pm. We woke up at 6:45, ate breakfast and hiked back to the truck and then headed home.

    I've got 6 California 14ers down, 9 to go.

That's Mt Whitney the middle of the pic. Sorry about the angle. I don't seem to be able to take level photos. Edit: Photo fixed courtesy of @T4RFTMFW

it's been years since I've looked into or done one, so just going off memory so you're probably correct.
