there are plenty of not hard choices you could've made, that would've been smarter than that one. you can get a dog and just eat it's shit for calories too, but that's not smart.

Most of this was for fun

 

brah russet potatoes, buy a bag, they will stay good a month or so. if you need something quick you can fry em. if you have 15 mins or so you can bake em in the microwave. if you can prep a bit for the next day you can throw em in a crockpot. (I don't pay for meat because I almost exclusively eat deer but) I have about $.20 in this meal and I cooked it and prepped the next in a half hour or so (I may of had $3.00 in a crockpot nearly full of beef soup)
you need to keep some kind of canned or dried beans around they are quick and easy and full of protein oh and cheap. and keep some canned tomatoes of some kind, diced or crushed paste sauce... you can even use rotel in place of diced and its kinda pre seasoned
