Ok, fair enough. Glad my truck is pretty much stock...

I've just been messing with you. I just don't like the term "stock friendly" when it's not stock. Tires are the most important upgrade for offroading in my opinion. So when you say you "just" had 31's it gets me going. Plus I'm bored. Sorry. lol

    fair enough.
I agree tires are important but don't consider it a big change from stock when going to 31s since stock are 30s. and if its a offroad they are technically A/T even though they're shit ones lol.
And everyone on here that always say they're stock don't have anything but 31s.
If its 33s thats a different story.

I slightly think differently just from person experience now. When I did ardbeg with eugene I heard skid constant and took no offshoots.
now with lift felt much more confident and had a lot less noise from skids. and took offshoots.

To each their own, but regardless I wouldn't even attempt some of the trails without a snorkel from the reports I've heard on them. Hell even minden was harsh this year. The water was really deep

I completely agree with the lift. Now you just need some 33's. lol

Experience is a big part of offroading, it helps you get to know what you can and can't do with your truck.

Goodyear duratrac are on sale at canadian tire for $269. Is that a good price for these?
I'm thinking of buying a set of 285 70 17 for no good reason other than they're on sale.

:cookiemonster: I feel like such a derp with my stock everything. :cookiemonster:

Guess I should buy the things, get that suspension action happening. :transformer:

Why is Amazon.ca the cheapest for SPC UCA in canada? That seems weird.

but may as well wait till you need them.
They go on sale each month.
And anything you guys want from canadian tire, mention it to me first and I can ask my sister to check when it will be going on sale.

de-badged, tint front windows, led interior lights, door sill protectors, led b/up lights, 5" factory step rails, yellow turn signal bulbs, added 4 D ring tie downs. Took off the black vinyl stripes between the doors. Changed the grill - from Custom Car Grills, Finally got a tonneau cover put on. 31" light bar ( white & amber ), tailgate light bar, sunvisor covers ( to hide warning labels ), new bedside decals - still too cold to put them on tho. Flag decals to go on too, again too cold still. Got a 2 switch, switch plate to replace that useless cubby hole to the left of the steering wheel.. still to be installed ( hopefully this weekend ). Upgraded the tires to G/Y Duratracs... loving them, no plowing the driveway !!
I got my Duratracs at Tire Terminal in Mississauga last year for about 213.00 each

    Cheaper than CT.

Get some cooper maxx st. 255 80 17.

For @Thyces , with the lift you already have. They will probably fit with very little modification and may not need cmc

^That tire size will fit stock with no lift if the wheel has stock-ish offset. I believe tacoma16 is already running that tire and size but with 16" 1st-gen wheel (255/85-16).
    Stock (245/75-16, 265/70-16, or 265/65-17) are 31". The popular 265/75-16 is a 32".

With the Duratracs, I was never traction-limited on the Ardbeg south trail. Even went from the beach to the camp site on normal pressure. I heard the MTRs are scary on wet pavement due to the lack of siping.

Mtr’s in anything cold are really scary. I had a few incidences where I had to almost change my shorts after driving on the highway. Going sideways up a hill at 80km/h in the far lane was not fun. Being able to only go 60km/h on the highway is not fun.

Actually go to canadiantire.ca and sign up for e-mail notification of things coming on sale... It works well for me.... Things like lawn fertilizer, etc that I buy every year, I put it on a list and they e-mail me before the flyer comes out...!!

If you go there and put the tires in your "list", they will e-mail you when they coming on sale..!!

    Good luck guys..!

Cold ok, but what about rain?

I've been happy with the duratracs cause they're still good in the rain.
