Screeching noise near rear Diff??

    i need some help guys my truck is takin a shit right now shocks are out, brakes are gettin bad, and now i got this noise. its a screech type of noise, it sounds like is coming from the drive shaft or diff.

    anyone help me out?

    I would check your fluid levels in your transfer case and diff and check your drive shaft for any play.

    also check the rear brakes.. i thought my rear diff was toast along time ago but was just my rear brakes were way far gone. mine sounded like a shot wheel bearing honestly edit: could also be your rear leaf springs. is it the rear shocks that are shot?

    yeah i havent checked the fluids yet, ill have to check on that.

    yeah thats what i was thinkin, maybe the brakes are just shot.
    yeah my gf dad said it could be a wheel bearing. it only happens when i accelrate from a stop, but once i hit like 35 40 its gone and i dont hear it

    i have had ALOT of u joints that did the same thing.. alot of various bearings do the same.
