I would personally wait. Get it all knocked out at once.

I also want a set of those but I will wait until my current fox need a rebuild then pull the trigger. Or if my springs front or back go bad or sag too much.

Yeah I’m probably going to wait until I get my bumpers, sliders, and wheel/tires

I've been driving lately about once a week and the ride improves every time I drive it. I love the ride height and have no issues. No differential bushing needed here as my truck is 2 wheel drive and no vibrations in front end. Definitely better ride than stock sport suspension. Got my setup from OK4WD for $2970 during labor day sale. It was on backorder and took a few weeks before being shipped.

I just ordered the Bp-51 kit. I’ve been reading quite a bit of threads on the kit and they are mostly all great reviews, which is partly why I ordered it. Anyway, what do you guys recommend I set the preload at for basically a stock weight 3rd gen DCSB with a SSO slimline bumper and no winch at the moment. I know it comes from ARB set at 20mm but from what I’ve been reading that’s for if you have a full bumper and winch On the front.

If I remember for you it's like 15mm. When you get the box with install instructions it will say. It gives a few scenarios of weight.

If you go thru all of the first post @WILDPEAK goes over all the different adjustments he made to his with about 200 pounds up front. I would suggest 5-10 mm with just your slim line bumper.

What is yours set at? Doesn’t look like you have any extra weight on the front?

Cool thanks man. I’ve read the thread a few times. Just thought I might get a few more opinions from people with the kit.

I'm at 20mm with hybrid bumper, winch, full set steel skids, and sliders and I'm netting 2-7/8" lift.

Wow okay. 10mm is probably what I should set it at. I have SSO Slimline bumper, and shortly after I install the bp-51 kit I’d like to add a winch and either sliders or just regular steps. I only off road like every other weekend and it’s more or less just cruising in the mountains so I wonder if top out would even be a concern for me lol.

Yeah mine is at 10mm which is what ARB recommends if you have no weight in the front, 15mm if you have some, and 20mm with bumper, winch, etc.. I had Wildpeak personally walk me through setup and advice to set mine with no weight at 10mm. I had bought his camper shell off of him and saw his setup in person, later to buy the bp51 setup.
And honestly if you are going with a winch soon you should just leave at 20mm. And anything different like I did , I always do my own work but paid my local "off road warehouse" to use their spring compressor to do my setting. Only like $45 for the pair.

BTW....now that I just added a roof top tent plus my previous camper and now my rear is sagging. I knew this day eventually would come but not so soon. Good sale on a RTT. So just ordered my D29xl AALs to lift the rear a bit more. Hopefully to install this weekend.
