    I think variable valve turbo would be good enough for me, sell off the supercharger

Plasti-dipped upper fenders and emblems. satin black spray paint here and there inside and out. 5100's set to 1.75" up front . C channel front bumper. Maxxis bighorn 255/85/16
    Um turbo to blower then to plenum i would assume

    Put a wastegate (sensing post turbo) where I put the bypass, bypassing the supercharger once boost gets to a point, allowing the turbo to take over at higher rpm

    I feel like there are a ton of draw backs to twin charged and not alot of pluses. Lots of heat, pipes galore, cost, space. And the only bonus is a little throttle response maybe vs a properly sized turbo or maybe a little more top end vs a good sc set up. Kinda like having a moltress in Pokemon its a bird type so its weak against electric type moves and its a fire type so its also weak against water...

    I don’t know Pokemon, but I agree for a street truck. I’m considering a turbo setup after my supercharger is complete. I want to build a turbo manifold just so guys have an option besides the mild steel chinese one

    Are u gonna get another truck to do this on? You could do a SC VS TC like might car mods did but better because its a tacoma instead of a miata

    When I was working on my speed 3, a guy put a super charger and turbo on his car. He used the supercharger from a Scion tC and a gtx 3071. The supercharger spooled the turbo at low rpm. The supercharger pushed into the front of the turbo. Once pressure got above a certain psi a supercharger bypass valve swung open so it be just turbo. Basically no lag and pulls hard at the top.

    Wish the pics worked. It's all that stupid photobucket garbage now.

    Poor Finnegan had his new all aluminum Hemi eat a valve of something of the sort. Chewed a hole in the crown of a piston. :pout:
