Installed this setup around 8 months ago.

OME Nitrochargers all around, 887s up front and Dakars in the back. Wheels are 18" Method Mesh. Truck is a 2010 DCLB 4wd.

I was rubbing immediately upfront, so I did a cab mount chop. Still rubs like crazy under any type of flex. Even just reversing out of my driveway and cutting the wheel.

Also, the cant of the front being lower than the rear is bothering me now that it's settled. Is there another coil over setup up front that would afford me some height without taking away from ride quality. And, potentially, would this fix my rubbing issues with the 285s?

Did you get a front end alignment after the lift was installed? Did you install UCA's? Shooting for 3+ degrees of Caster will push your front wheels further forward away from the body. If you're running 887's on stock UCA's you're probably out of caster and don't have much more adjustment to help the situation.

    Just a guess.

Should've added that to the OP. I'm running All-Pro UCA's. Would have to go back to the paperwork and see where the caster ended up. I had an alignment done the day of.

Do you have some pictures of where you are rubbing? I had to cut the bottom of my inner fender.

I'll take some pics at full lock after work. It's hitting on the rear side of the fender (towards the front of the driver/passenger doors). I'm wondering if the backspacing on the wheels has anything to do with it. I'll have to look at that. I just took the wheel dealer's word for what worked for the truck.

Here are some of the pictures of when I cleared my Cooper ST MAXX in 285x75r16s. Stock wheels with spacers.

I also hammered the pitch weld down, and hammered the piece of sheet metal that the bottom of the flairs attached to up.

Did you weld plates back in place or just leave them open? I too am rubbing with 285s right here.

I bought plates from SOS Concepts, I am just waiting on my buddy @tweakit88 to fix his welder so he can weld them on for me.

Just saw this thread and have basically same issue. Front sagged immensely compared to what it started as ome 887 and ome shocks. I don't really like it with the amount of lift from dakars, I put maybe 200 miles since install. Also have light racing arms. I keep putting off tires as I'm afraid I'll rub like crazy and it's going to settle more.

I'm thinking of ripping off and buying better fronts.

What size 285's are you running since you are running 18's. they look a little bigger than my 285/70/17. I did the CMC removed flaps and the little one in the front, had to cut out the liner and am running castor of 3 and 3.4 (one side is higher for the crown of the road). If you running 285/70/18 you would have a larger tire as well than most folks running 285/75/16 or 285/70/17. Another thought I did not see asked. I was also rubbing with just a CMC done. It was not too bad but once you get off road and moving your suspension the other areas pop up.

This is where my head is at with the front height. They ride great, but the sag kills me. What are you thinking of switching too up front?

I mispoke on wheel size (thinking of the STi), they're 17's. 285/70/17. CMC made things better, but any flex at all (turning into a hilly driveway) it'll rub pretty good unless I baby it.

Do you know where it's rubbing? That was the case for me after alignment and trimming inside the fenders and castor did the trick for me. First was fender trimming (inside lip closest to the door) while out on some trails. Kept trimming until it stopped

Yep, mine pretty much cleared on road with just the CMC. Once you start 3-wheeling you know they real issues.

I'm not a fan of the sag from OME either. The 886 coils will fix this a little if you have added weight. However, I am swapping out to radflo 2.5 coilovers with 700# springs.

700# for running bumper up front or to compensate for sag? I was going to go the Icon extended route with the 650# and just crank up until I was leveled.

I am thinking of going to kings or icon or whatever else pops up in a group buy. Possibly, also contemplating returning back to stock and trading.

I might have 50 # of skids it shouldnt have sagged this much IMO.

Pretty much disappointed sums it up.
