Are there any Regular Cab V6's? I tried doing a search on the forum but it takes out "V6" so it sort of defeats the purpose.

In addition to a V6 Regular Cab, are there any V6 Regular Cab 4x4's?

    Any pictures?

    Thanks! - Derek

That's what I was thinking. I just got bored and started researching and couldn't find anything.

Back in the day Toyota used to put a V6 in a regular cab, I have an aquaintance who owns one, just rebuilt, frame up, pretty sweet.

the only reg cab v6's are 1997 it was only year with option.... and they are all 4x4's... toyota believed the V6 had too much power for a reg cab so they put them in extra cabs...screwy thing is they put the v6 in extra cab 4x2's (5 lug not pre-runner) even though they weigh around the same as a reg cab 4x4 ... the swap is actually easy if you go to a local junkyard and get everything from the donor vehicle (computer, wiring, trans, transfer case, etc etc etc)

My 1991 regular cab had a V6 and 4x4, that and AC were all I had to have. :)

I really like regular cabs, it would be awesome to convert the 2.7 to the 4.0! I wished Toyota would bring a diesel option to the US for Tacomas.
