So cops and non-sworn personnel abusing confidential databases. I'm glad some public servants take their oaths seriously.

Anyone ever done this mod and not been happy with it? Any short falls at all? Would love to hear the cons as well as the pros on this one. All of your comments both good and bad would be very much appreciated......., even if you just plain messed it up. Help me decide with your comments. Thanks in advance.

Well not today, but last week. Dropped the Taco off for a little surgery and picked her up Friday of last week.

It is more leveled than it looks, the parking lot had a slight slope to it. Bilstein 6112's up front and 5160's in the rear with an Icon 1.5" AAL. Rides so much better now. The 4600's on the stock TRDOR aren't bad, but these are a different animal. Have gotten many compliments on it so far, love it! If you're in Vegas and are looking at a shop, send me a PM and I'll give you the info of the place that did mine. Good people and good prices

I got in on the GB as well and am very happy with them. The product itself (just struts and a few brackets really) seems really well designed and perfect fit, I think they come with a 4 or 5 year warranty depending on model. The instructions were full color and very well written, if you’re handy it shouldn’t take more than 45-60 min to knock out. The only tool I didn’t have that would have made it easier was a center punch. The instructions call for one but I was too excited to get started I just made do. They recommend using one while you start drilling your holes so the bit doesn’t wander but I improvised and was fine. Definitely tape down the 3/16” bit because drilling up into your hood is sketchy! Other than that it’s a breeze. Take a few measurements, drill some holes, paint exposed areas, rivet, good to go! No cons to speak of.

Pretty straight forward. Just measure twice and drill once. You will need a rivet gun. Oh and make sure you use a drill stop or tape off your drill bit with electrical tape so just the tip of the bit goes through, so you don't make a dent on your hood when drilling the holes.

I wasn't pleased with halogens so I tried LEDs. They didn't have the throw I wanted so I went with 35w HIDs from TRS. They are much better, but I'm still looking for a cheap pair of headlights that I can retrofit with a proper bi-xenon setup. The search continues...

Have the necessary tools including a center drill to follow the prick punch. Tape on the drill bit a good idea but since I'm a direct decedent of Murphy I think I'll use a drill collar. Appreciate the input and I'm glad you are pleased with the results as well as the quality of the struts. Must be nice eliminating the hood prop rod especially if you get under there in the dark.
    Thanks
    Thanks Bud.
