You can relocate that plug into a bumper right next your plate lights.

Nope. That rock was wedged up against your bumper's right corner. :D

To be honest I don’t remeber.

Yup. This was a while back of course.
That’s weird. I think your option since it’s the cone only left is to drill it out or try to weld a nut to it. But with the aloy rims I would drill the cone out as heat and aluminum kind of worry me.

Keep us posted on how that goes.

    This still amazes me.

Pfffttt I dont care what Eugene says. Skids help big time, correct line is a must either way. With out skids the underside of my truck would be fucked. With them 0 damage, just some scrapes on them like they were designed for.

Eugene's leaking oil pan is a fluke accident lol. A rock must have got in there. Could even be a thermal crack. After all we were going through water. Could have been hot and cooled rapidly causing it to crack.

So just looked it up on OF4WD, trails are open until Dec 1st unless otherwise posted (Ardbeg supposedly has a sign)
But they recommend staying off during hunting season for obvious safety reasons.

I know Minden is used a lot for a hunting area, hell driving up along 35 you'll see a bunch of signs for bear hunting lol.

I don't want to be a buzzkill or push people out, but just throwing it out there Minden is a much tighter trail than Ardbeg is. Majority of it is single track, although yes bypasses are available there will be portions where there is no bypass. There is also no exit to the trail, so time will be a factor we should consider as we will need to turn around and continue back to leave the trail. I'm not crazy about doing a night run again. If we have a large group we might not be able to do the full trail. Isn't really a problem but just throwing it out there.

Trail is about 9km each way.
Scotchline West ends and turns into the trail. Scotchline comes to a fork, to the right will be bear lake road which has a cottage on it, if you find yourself there turn around, trail is to the left of the fork. Can enter trail on stock PSI about 4 min into it you will come to an opening where you can airdown. Be mindful of where you are. Trail runs through private land and locals up there do not like 4x4s.

The deepest water crossing will be at the start of the trail, use caution while entering as the rock climb at the end is where I popped my bumper off, eugene's video of the trail has a part where you can see Peter climbing it.

This hill climb is one of the tough portions that will not have a bypass. Rear wheel will come off if you don't have enough flex. Guys with sidesteps might get some damage to them here.

Otherwise this trail is rated a 2 and is used for newbie runs by OF4WD. So its a relatively easy trail, just has a few spots you will need to be careful.

Eugene's video, right where it starts is the rock climb I was talking about for the water. Just don't hit it to hard lol.

    https://youtu.be/v9dyA2yXpw0?t=37s

All water crossings are generally rock/hard bottom but the first one does have some hidden rocks to the left while entering (right while exiting) Gave my rear diff a good smack on it when we did it so just pick lines carefully.
Where the jeep climbs up that rock face is basically where we stopped for lunch and turned around. About 1/2 to 2/3 way down the trail.
