I’m really wanting a trailer now though. There is a sweet one that just sits near me that I left a note for. Never heard back...:pout:

    Built in battery tender!
I used a regular battery tender for my deployment and it started right up and my battery is over 5 years old.

I meant never use the truck, not the solar panels. I was digging at 98% of the "overlanders" on this forum. Not even mentioning the pathetic OC-overlanders.

As a Solar Engineer, Solar panels are great haha

My roommate is a "Cubs fan" after they won last year and it mildly turns me on to watch them lose right now

FJ steelies? Pretty sure you can, just some shops might have some issues. That’s going to be a heavy duo though, especially going from 255’s, so might be worth it to get some alloys.

Luckily you have some time. You can always run the steelies with 35’s until you find a really good deal on alloys. My methods are 28 pounds a piece though, not exactly light. If you tell me what style of wheel you’re looking for, I can keep an eye out in Phoenix. Wheels are super cheap here for some reason

If you weld rings on them though they'd get even heavier. They'd look sweet though and it's not like its a DD

My buddy is looking to buy a used 5th gen. Knowing that I am into Toyotas, hes been hammering me with questions. He asked one this morning that I couldn't answer and thought you guys might know better. The question was "WTF is that thing on the roof?" Heres the link https://www.nwmsrocks.com/for-sale/lifted-2013-toyota-4runner-sr5-4x4_63214 .

I had no fing idea, but from the looks of it, def worth 3pts.

    Any ideas?

My Konigs are sub 20 pounds. They’re just ugly.

On the hunt for some land cruise wheels again since my old ones are pretty messed up

Is the outer ring removable on them? If so you can always just remove it and repaint

If you were local, I’d take them in a heart beat. Only thing I didn’t like is I have to run front spacers because of breaks. Not the worth thing in the world though. Think I’m going to get some .75” ones instead of my 1.25” this go around

I’m sure I’ll be able to find some on expo portal though.

That's my exact setup. Bora 0.75" Wheel Spacers

What color do you think I should paint them to sell quickly? Black or Silver?

Pretty sure my setup is like 85 lbs/corner already with the 255/85/16 KM2s and steelies. I'm also looking at the SCS wheels but it's so hard to justify spending the money on something that will inevitably get scratched/beaten/etc just to save a few pounds
