Only the maglight mod, mounted on floor drivers side, billet antenna and have lined all storage under rear seats with rubber to keep the rattling to a minimum.

I have someone wanting to buy my '07 for $10K. The '08 has every upgrade I wanted to do to mine minus the factory installed leather interior (done by the owner after he had it for a while). 4" Rough Country suspension lift, Body Armor front and rear bumpers, XRC 10K# winch, 20" Fuel Cleaver wheels, full length step rails, Thule Xsportster rack w/ LED light bar, LED color changing halo fogs, halo headlights, console vault and Bluetooth DVD head unit. It's a clean truck inside and out and the carfax shows that all the scheduled maintenance was performed on time and TSB's and recalls were taken care of in a timely manner. I'm torn because it would cost me almost $9K worth of work to do all this to mine but this one already has it done and I could get it for less than $7K. What the FK is a guy to do? Please help!

I like the look of it but id at least let a mechanic that you trust tell you if anything is wrong with it first.

Without a doubt! I'm going to go look at it today and drive it. I'm gonna crawl in and under that thing like a NASA inspector and look for anything suspicious.

Maybe just me but the stickers ruin the truck.

You know the history of your truck, but don’t know the history of this truck. I’d keep your ride and slowly add to it

If I get it, the emblems are going bye-bye and the flares rocker panels and lower qtr of the doors are getting painted black or rhino lined. I think that would set it off even more.

True, and the carfax shows the maintenance was done, but I'm still considering it as an option simply because it's a turnkey upgrade with everything I want done to mine.

Damn straight. I got my magnet ready and I'm going over the frame even though the carfax shows it was taken care of.

What is its mileage compared to yours?

I would keep yours and put 9k in a truck that you already know than vs 7k to a truck that you don't.

Did you want a mall crawler? To me those aftermarket parts, Rough Country, Body Armor, side steps, and those wheels scream mall crawler. Form over function. Check the front bumper alignment, is it contacting the fender? Can it be easily adjusted to correct?

The Thule rack is quality but it's usefulness is negated by having the light bar mounted on the forward bar.

    2WD?

Not worth changing, unless you upgrade to a 4WD vehicle. YMMV :mudding:

Not a fan of the 20" wheels. Plus it's a prerunner so that's a no go for me. Just my two cents.

If the "new" one is clean and mechanically sound, then it's a probably a good deal for you. If you'd want to remove or re-do any of the parts on there, the value of the aftermarket work drops.
