Heads up to the Colorado crew. Dobinsons USA is working on some snorkels for 2nd and 3rd Gens. Sounds like 4 to 6 months and they are expecting a group buy for them in the range of $350......

Definitely a strong argument for buying the older vehicles. :D

Or just register the new ones out of state. Probably why so many people fail to get CO plates.

Get you for what? I'm fairly certain I'd be happy to register a new vehicle elsewhere if it wasn't for work.

well, if you get pulled over, and can't explain why you work in Colorado but have your truck registered in Wyoming, then you get fined and have to register it like you should have.
If you live here less than 90 days, you do not have to register. But your drivers license must be changed within 30 days. That's the catch 22 if you get pulled over, having an in state license but out of state plates.

Found this site from a different County...seems about the ball park I was quoted on the phone when I plugged in numbers.

Yeah those statutes are pretty standard most places. Chances of getting cited though...

But hopefully registration is cheaper away from the front range along with no emissions.

    What haven’t I changed?
You could always register in Sterling :D

No emissions, and registering a brand new Lexus RX here was cheaper than registering a 3-year-old Camry in Greeley. 1.5% sales tax on a new car was great as well.

Any of you know where I might find a good red/orange whip flag? Seems all the UTV stores down here in the Springs have the same two piece one that barely stays together. First bump I feel like it would fall out. Worst case is I could glue it, but it's freaking long if I do lol. I wouldn't mind if it screwed together but this just pushes in lol.
