    It'll depend on the timing of when Pelfreybilt comes out with a 2nd gen hi-clearance dual-swingout.

    Chances are, it won't be for a while because they already have a swingout for the 2nd gen...but, not for other needed vehicles (T4Rs, 1st gens, etc.).

    A little lift and a little armor
    I would guess that since the steel tube wasn't strong enough in their eyes to safely hold a spare and aux cans while having some fun in the dirt, that AL would be a bad idea.

    The weight of a standard 33" spare with anywhere between 6-10 gallons of fuel/water is more than you think (shit, it's hard enough for me to just take off of 35" spare :anonymous:). Multiple that by the nearly 4' lever arm and your asking for trouble.

    Just my 2 cents though...

    The aluminum would not hold the weight well of the spare tire, extra fuel etc.
