My guess is black would probably sell better. But shit, I’d list them as is and see if someone bites

Do you guys thing adding the stock 3rd gen 4runner roof rack tracks to my tundra's camper shell would work? Don't see why not as long as I seal it up properly. Trying to figure out the best way to mount the Prinsu and I can get those strips for super cheap at the junk yard.

Just found a picture, 81#/corner for mine. Crazy that 1" extra of wheel is 19# extra/corner

I picked up my first set for $150 IIRC and found a local set for $125. I’d pick up that set, they’re just the flat style lugs and I want to keep my online driven lug nuts

@MattJakobs found a set of trail ready beadlocks I’m really thinking about but 1600 for 5 wheels is still a lot and they are 17s so I would need new rubber.

$1600 for 5 new ones is a pretty damn good deal though.

And if he buys them, I buy son SCS F5s:anonymous:

    You don’t need beadlocks.

Anyone know if anyone makes non-acorn style lugs that are spline driven?

You can do that now. 8 Psi isn’t even that low. I’ve never popped a bead, ever and I run 10-12. 6 in snow once

    Is pismo just sand dunes?

I rarely air down when going on the beach. Never really had a need to. But it’s essentially just drive somewhere and park for the day. No driving on dunes or anything of speed

they have the main beach area as well then camping section where its just sand but not dunes. Then dunes. You can get away without airing down on the sand highway but not back towards camp, dig city. Its also torn up because of trucks and campers dragging through though. Some days its a shit show, some days no problems.

Ah. Our sand is wet no more than maybe a foot deep all around so no real digging. Soft only to a certain depth so 2wd vehicles can do it no problem

ive done it on 2wd within the dunes, but it takes a driver who knows how to drive on sand. But always have to air down or id be stuck no matter what. IDK if the sand is more fine or what but its a bitch some times.

I've had zero issues or stuckage in the 4runner though.

Ya pismo sand is real fine and will swallow you up. You see those big ass diesels just spinning all 4wheels because they didn’t air down.

    @Unner

Saw you posted in the new savage rear bumper thread quite a bit. What was your deciding factor for a 4Xinnovations rear bumper over savage?

@4x4runner2002 how much do you think I could get back from parting out a 4runner without the engine/smog system? Thinking of using my 99 to be the donor for a 3.0/3.4 swap, but want to make sure I won't end up in the hole. Has a hood scoop, flares, lift, no locker, auto trans and clean cloth interior.

You can make a couple grand just takes time a dealing with a lot of bs. When I parted out the one I had I made just under 2k profit and I didn’t sell the engine or trans or transfer case.
Hood scoop hoods get a couple hundred easy. Lift should be easy to sell as well.
