Here's my previous C55 AMG after 3 stage paint correction. No wax or sealant on it at all right now.

 

5th Set LOL! Going to order a winter set real soon, probably gonna get a set of 265 75 16 Cooper M+S. I've sold the tires that I had and they paid for these, sold my 265 75 16 duratracs the next day for $600 cash!

 

Put in a new AFE Dry Air Filter today. Bought one for the wife's Crosstrek as well.

Damn! I need to work some of your voodoo on my paint. So much pinstriping, overspray and tree sap.

 

Local guy on craigslist sells some tires. These are blemishes but nothing is noticeable on them and they are structurally perfect!

 

Total time was about 12 hours. Washed, clay barred, dried, polished with menzerna fg400 then jeweled polished with another menzerna polish. Then sealed with menzerna as well. Back when I didn't have kids and I could spend a Saturday detailing lol.

I haven't done anything today, but I will soon be adding to this thread with some fun updates. Over the weekend I plastidip'd the grill on our new '17 Tacoma TRD Off Road flat black. This coming Sunday I'm getting my new BFG 255/85/16's installed, and very shortly I'll be ordering both an ARB snorkel and a Katzkins leather interior kit.

I may have gone overboard with the pictures, but here you go. You have to play with the fitment a bit, and the center and rear brackets are mislabeled. I had to use the brackets that had a "P" in the part number on the driver side, and vice versa. Only the front brackets were labeled correctly. I also painted the bolts and washers that are visible.
Edit: the front and rear parts of the bar will touch the pinch seams, but didn't seem to fold or bend them.

Thanks man. They came out really nice. I plan to paint my bolts and steps flat black too . One question though, Say when you're about to climb into your truck, opened the door, and you step your left foot on the bar step as you are about to climb in,.. do you notice a slight body lean?

 

Nothing yet. I'll get into that when we get a roof rack.
