Nah, not original. A friend of mine did it to theirs and it's cheaper than the pro grille.

this has paid for itself over twice so far this year. not even mentioning Prime video and all that, and the wife and kids use it daily.

Installed a Dynamat hood liner today. This was not to make my ride any quieter since I already have 79 square feet of Dynamat, Dynapad, etc on the doors, floor, rear wall and roof. This was primarily to block the heat from hitting the hood to protect the paint in the long term as I plan on keeping this truck a long time. A while back I noticed 10 predrilled holes in the hood frame that fit perfectly the extra box of plastic fasteners that I used for the liner under the back seats where the jack is located. Toyota apparently planned on having a hood liner come with these trucks but the bean counters cancelled it to save a few dollars. The hood liner size is 54 inches by 32 inches. The 54 inch width was perfect but the 32 inch height had to be trimmed by around 3 inches which fit well on the top of the firewall. After taking off the backing paper the liner is very sticky so I started at the middle of the hood and worked out from side to side while punching holes in for the plastic fasteners. When I got to the bottom I had to take off the tubing for the windshield washers and put them back in after pressing down the liner. Finally, after the liner was installed I sealed each side with 3M metalic duct tape. I ended up using 7 plastic fasteners which I probably didn't need since the liner was very sticky. When I took it for a test drive it did seem to be a little quieter but the main reason is still to protect the paint for the long term.

Absolutely, shipping costs don't take long to add up, especially north of the border. When I originally signed up I didn't know about the streaming service so it was just a nice bonus!

It's amazing. High quality. The OEM Toyota Bed extender is made by AMP Research. FYI.

Kind of pain to install but my buddy helped me and we got it done no issue. I do need to buy a u lock or two to secure it to the d ring to prevent theft though.

I have used it a few times already closed up to throw stuff in the bed and keep em from rolling around. That's how I will be using it prob 90% of the time unless I have my bikes or motorbike back there then it will be opened up of course. I recommend it!

I'm not sure this qualifies as DOING something TO my 3rd gen as much as blessing it and its new friend by introducing them.

I hitched my two seater sandrail with its Toyota MR2 engine with 3.5" TRD turbo and upgraded ECU, to my TRD Pro. I think I made a tear in space-time. Aliens from the upside down came through, took one look at the ensemble and realized we are highly intelligent beings worth saving. They chose not to destroy us today. Let's follow their lead.

Timberen Ubolt flip kit bump stop combo. Its progressively harder the harder you sit on it. Over priced in my opinion.

Make sure you get a good rivet gun! If it has a swiveling head, better yet. Be certain you measure accurately, and use a drill bit stop ( I used plastic tape wrapped around the drill bit) when you drill the hood holes. Put a towel on the sides when you do those holes. Make sure you don't scratch the paint when the rivet breaks - it may catch you by surprise.

I’ve been looking at those but can’t make up my mind weather or not I want the switchbacks. I really don’t want to go through the hassle of having to wire them up so they will dim to 20% when the headlights come on.
