    In general a cold air intake sucks in air from outside as opposed to under the hood. Sucking in dense cold air produces more horsepower than sucking in hot less dense air.

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Correct, Unfortunatly, Most "CAI"'s draw air from under the hood. Brock pointed out the OEM intake IS a Cold Air intake, as it pulls air from a high pressure area in the fender.
