Yeah keep an eye on that. Little bit scary that your afrs would be jumping that much at cruising.

Yeah and i had said before if i blow it up i can just put a 2tr in it but since they're only good for <400whp i may have to rethink... (kidding im hoping not to blow anything up guys sit back down)

How funny? Like misfires? Or just an enrichment problem?

Kinda curious if your spark plugs are fouling.

Just hesitatie if i got over 1500rpms (but not like wot just more than gramps driving is what im talkin about) accelerating. I tried a semi hard pull when i got closer to home and it pulled fine but didnt jump down in afrs fast enough i felt so i backed off before i built much boost

Just having a hard time pin pointing it because your fuel trims are looking better. Spark and exhaust leaks are really the only other options that makes your afr's freak out.

Does it really matter how much timing you pull when you make 700Hp on a stock block lol?

That video was so cool. First engine masters vid to have me super excited for the result in a while.

Well I hope I haven’t annoyed anyone too much with my off the wall questions in the middle of turbo bs but since I know everyone likes videos here’s one just driving around checking fuel pressure. It hard to see but it seems to go up when in boost and a couple of times when I let off the throttle it spiked to past 60psi of course the afrs didn’t go lean while taking off and then go back like the have been https://youtu.be/Y5fQXtirni4

It’s probably an E85 related misfire (spark blowout). I have cheap aftermarket ignition coils in my truck, and if I use more than 5 gallons of e85 combined with 91 octane gas AND water/methanol, I start getting little misfires here and there. The best mix for me is 3 gallons of e85 mixed with 13 gallons of 91 octane. No misfires and more power. I will eventually order some toyota coils but for now that’s what I’ve dealt with.

maybe try gapping the plugs a little closer so the spark dosent blow out?

I did have a random misfire cel at some point but not on this last set. It was just o2 sensors and evap garbage so gap the plugs closer like matthew said should fix some of this maybe?

My gaps are already at .032 IIRC (stock gap for IK20 iriduims). Too small and my idle sucks. It’s not a problem if I use a max of 4 gallons of E85 with 91 octane to make up the rest. Scanner tool says 16-19 degrees of advanced timing at WOT full boost when I use that mixture. VERY fast

Been running e85 for many years. Never had this issue. Have had blow out but running high boost and that's on gas or e85.

    I run .026. I would lower gap.

I also run non projected plugs. They move the spark up a bit and don't blow out as easily. I have ran as low as .022 gap on projected plugs.
