Well awhile ago I posted about this guy. Shortly after he went missing presumed dead as his last know location was drifting towards a reef and then his GPS tracker stopped updating.

Well he pulled another Rabit out of his hat (or ass). Somehow he is still alive... months later and 2700 miles away. His record of never entering or exiting a port under his own power remains intact.

Thread in another forum I follow documents this guy, it’s like the gift that never ends. What will his next move be.

NO KIDDING!!! I just finished (like yesterday) Building a 11' x 40' deck. Used PT lumber. We got the ledger, posts, cantilever, and joists up. Came back to the house two days later and we were all pulling out the phones to take pics of the warping and twisting wood. Could not believe what I saw. The deck is now rock solid and straight as an arrow but man did it take effort to straighten out that garbage. Last deck I built was 20 years ago and I most definitely do not remember the wood doing that! In fact...that deck is still standing! And also those concrete bases for the posts!! i saw a guy the other day buying 12 of them and I just shook my head because I knew very well what he was going to attempt with them. I also do not understand why anyone would attach a ledger board to a house and not put flashing. Not only did I flash up and down about 24" but I also added Z-bar with drip edge to the top of the ledger board. I hate codes and county inspectors but seeing stuff like this makes me start to appreciate them a little!!

I see what you did there.

I don't get what's so f-ing special about the combination of ground ginger, cinnamon, and cloves? Sure you use those when making pumpkin pie, and also ginger bread, ginger cookies, and various Indian dishes as well.

An accused cop killer's jury selection in New Orleans came to a screeching -- and smelly -- halt Wednesday after the man began rubbing feces on his face.

Judge Karen Herman cleared the courtroom after Travis Boys, 35, returned from the bathroom and began rubbing feces -- which had been wrapped in a napkin and concealed -- on his face, head and mouth in front of a pool of potential jurors, FOX8 reported.

Boys is charged with the 2015 killing of a New Orleans police officer.

A reporter from WDSU said the incident occurred in the middle of jury selection.

"Breaking: Officials say Boys rubbed feces on his face and in his mouth in the middle of jury selection," Travers Mackel tweeted.

Herman ordered a new competency hearing for Boys on Thursday.

During a September hearing, Boys had been previously deemed competent to stand trial, NOLA.com reported.

Boys faces live in prison if convicted of murdering 22-year NOPD veteran officer Daryle Holloway.

He was already ruled competent, but he's definitely earning that new hearing. :puke:

I was living in New Orleans when this happened. He’s a POS. One thing about New Orleanians, they are from there and they will die there. They have no idea That there’s a whole nother world just beyond the city...

It was actually really great just after Katrina. Last 3-4 years has taken a downturn with politics. And the corruption levels have only escalated. There’s festivals and concerts any day and any time of year. But the food. There is no better food in this country!
I leave for there next week for the Halloween parade. Taking stretchy pants cuz I know I’ll be eating good!

Nagin is doing federal time now.
Policing is in the shitter. (Took the over 8 hours to respond to a stolen truck with a registered firearm in it. )
The current mayor is using family companies for govt contracts.
And the Sewer & Water Board... ugh. That’s a whole other days worth of stories

Who let you have a hurricane? Those things are nasty and peg you for tourist with those hideous carnival glasses. If you go again, live like a local, and stay away from the Quarter.
