    Coaching.

    They had a hell of an offense last year and a shitty defense. So what does Del Rio do? He fires the OC (Musgrave) and hires a first time OC (Downing) who has no imagination, no in-game adjustments, and no knowledge of how to use his weapons.

    Not to mention the DC (Norton) was a first time DC and if anyone needed to be let go it was him, but he's still coaching the defense.

    I like the guy myself. He brought them back from a blowout, tied the game and damn near pulled off a win. Hoyer blows. The Niners are losing, but just by few fricken points a game. They seem more energized with C.J. in the game. New blood can make a difference.

    HAHA so true. But the NFC North is shit now. Stafford is the only QB in that division.

    btw the season has been the wackiest in a long time. A lot of teams go from good to bad or bad to good, week to week. There are also a lot of teams that are bad every week :pout:

    I do still have decently high hopes for this season. Rogers going down was obviously huge for the Lions, and seeing all these upsets recently just proves "any given Sunday..." in the NFL. It's just hard to be too excited this early. We play hard in the 4th qtr, and find creative ways to lose.
