How do I hook up the third brake light on the cap? Do tacos come with the wiring harness for it?

you have to tap into your tail lights with the harness that fits the cap plug

It was easy. There should be two wires coming from the light on the cap, a positive and a ground. Both get tapped into the taillight with a couple basic wire taps. I'll find you the colors in a bit.

Wired the led's up last night for a test. Just placed the trim piece on top of the headlight at the same angle as if it was mounted.
    OMG bright!
These are more like FU lights. I'll take some pics from the cab this weekend for comparison.

So....if you install switchback led's for the DRLs, is there any special wiring needed or will the bulb automatically sense when the signal light is engaged? Anyone know or have experience with them?

you will have hyperflash if you install leds where your signals are, you need a new relay to run them.

i run the diode dynamics relay but you lose the dtrl module

Sounds too complicated. Reason I ask is I saw a Tacoma in the turning lane across from me today and his DTRL were white LED but the other side was amber as his blinker was flashing.

You need to install resistors, hyperflash is caused by too much power going through the light and as leds are more efficient you need a resistor to cut down the power before it reaches the light
