I assumed the same, but I think the color may be close to accurate and in that case I do not like it lol

I am with you. I wanted Cement when I got my SSM. Not sure that it being a "TRD" color if it would be on the 18 Limited anyhow.

I would like the added TSS, but even with TSS and Cement... not worth taking the hit. I will just have to live vicariously through others here on TW. :D

I have a friend who has a friend who's cousin is dating the half neice of Chew Toyoda. He said he was told they were going to release the 2018 info on the 25th of this month to celebrate the 25th birthday of Dum Gai Toyoda who came up with the name Tacoma for the pickup truck. He was also told the automatics are being upgraded to an 8 speed transmission and next year the manuals will be 7 speeds.

What are they so proud of those goodyear tires? Especially on a pro! Every single review complains about them.

Ha. So put kevlar MTRs on the pros if that's the case.

This sounds like a troll. But I'd loved to be proved wrong when the official details come out. :hattip:

The Pro is definitely cool... I just can't get on board with the price. It sounds like the TRD OR DCSB is the most popular selection on TW. Glad the TRD OR/Sport is getting the cement treatment. I'm between cement, quicksand, and silver.

Yep. I think most people look at the PRO the same way you do. Since I don't keep my trucks long, I tend to look at the overall investment. Purchase price only part of the equation. The PRO's have very limited production (1000 per year) which drives much of the price increase. My concern is resale...I've been watching PRO resale values and they stay at or above MSRP for a year or two. This might not mean much to a guy buying one for the long haul, but that makes a big difference for someone like me.

For me, the issue is not getting all the premium options for that price. The suspension is great, but I can't get a moonroof or JBL on a 45k truck? Idiotic. For top price I expect all the goodies, or at least the option to buy them.

I have yet to see 2018 pricing. But I'm hoping to be at 35k before TTL on a TRD OR with either tech or premium package. I want to keep my total bill under 40k for a well equipped TRD OR DCSB.
