Let me see your guy's subs in your first gens! I got a Rockville 12" sub ( not expensive but good) with a built in 1000 watt amp. It has a 38 Hz-500Hz Frequency response and I have it set to 60Hz I belive. The wiring kit came with a complete 8 guage kit, a gold plated fuse and a bass controller. My stereo is a Pioneer DEH-X4800BT(BT is for Bluetooth). The bungies are temporary until I find a bracket to hold it in better. I used a self gasket maker from osh to put behind the sub and the cab so it wouldnt rattle. This thing is poweful for my regular cab and shakes all the mirrors at half volume. Show me your setups, maybe I'll get some ideas for mine.

I like the double din stereo, I was debating on it but kind of wanted the empty space on the bottom. Nice custom custom sub box it looks clean!

I had a pioneer 3900BT single din with the storage pocket underneath but the screen was hard to view with the BT features such as incoming phone calls

Yeah I get that too, I'll probably switch it out in the future since it will be easy!

It's been YEARS since I did anything with mine, but I did a custom box to fit a 10" behind the rear seats of my doublecab. There's, like, zero room back there so I had to remove the plastic cover off the rear of the seat and cut out the interior at the back wall to get anything to fit. It worked for a very long time, but its seems like recently my amp crapped out, and I've been to cheap to replace it. It's not a daily driver anymore so I'm not as concerned about it.

Yeah having a sub makes daily driving alot better. Im afraid my amp will take a shit and ill have to pull it all apart. The amp is enclosed so it would suck. Mines a regular cab so the little space I had behind my bench seat is now no space

I forget where I saw it, but there's apparently a self contained sub/amp that fit under the driver seat. I might consider that when/if I replace my current (non-functioning) setup. Then again, might as well just get a new amp, I'm sure they're smaller/less expensive now anyway...

I’ll get a picture up soon if wanted, but I have 2-12” Sound Ordnance subs shoved in the back of my extended cab and an amp under my passenger seat. I’d say it’s pretty loud :D.14B15213-3538-4C5D-8997-6D8EDD702DCB.jpg

jesus christ. I had a single 10" in my extracab and that was more than enough.

But I'm probably considered an old fart by now, relative to most of you young punks... :)

Dang I’ve finally found someone who has less room in the cab than me because of subwoofers. But it’s all worth it!!

It definitely is! Before this I just had the box the subs camein sitting on the back seats. It moved around if I hit a turn too fast or if i braked too hard! Definitely worth it to build it!

I have some Velcro on the bottom of mine to keep it from moving around. I also have a single 12 inch in case I wanna swap em every now and then for more room.

Oh thats good! Before I got the box with two in it, I had a single 12 sitting in the middle facing forward, and then a 10 sitting on top of that facing up. Then the two boxes were screwed together. Super ugly, and it liked to fall over on turns.

My subs have also come in handy a few times. For example, I had my windows down at a light and a group of obnoxious kids pulled up with their dad and were blaring music and hanging out the windows and pointing at other cars. I then proceeded to turn my sub level all the way up and blast a song with a lot of bass and cranked up the volume. They heard it and stopped for a little and I looked over and noticed that I was making their side and rear view mirror shake. Then I sped off and left them in the dust.(or as much as I could with a 4 banger and 33s.)

Yeah I believe kicker snd pioneer makes some under seat subs but it restricts the amount of rebound for the sub. Would definitely be cool to have 2 under the driver and passenger id say go for it
