    Decided not to put the hood on today after last week when someone almost stepped on it . I usually put the hood behind my Camaro and have had a couple close calls from being stepped on . That particular hood is only 12lbs and very lightweight and I would be pissed if some broke it in half by accidentally stepping on it

    I'd be out over $750 if that happened

    Relaxing as I have a vacation day tomorrow. I ordered a bluestone step and picked it up on my way home from work. 16"x51"x6 1/2" - about 315lbs. The stone yard put it in the back of the truck with a forklift. I used two 2x6 sections to make ramps from the bumper to the concrete pad it is now sitting on. Removed the tailgate and slid it down the ramp and then barred it into position. Back is stiff today - I'm sure it'll feel great by Saturday...

    Doing great. Starting a new water trailer project tomorrow. Going to build this one on a frame so the complete unit slides in and out of any trailer I want to use. I usually use 500 gallon tanks, but I'm going to make this one with a 1000 gallon tank. If i use one or the lighter trailers, just fill it halfway. But I have 2 trailers that'll handle the weight.
