Good evening. Long day started off with a major dog fight before daylight. Talked to the breeder tonight and she agreed he needs to go. She just had a litter and offered me a free puppy for all the effort I put into Jack. I need to sleep on that one. Maybe more than once. And hate to see the little troublemaker go.

One more day and off for another week chasing birds. Will be just the 3 year old and me. He will like being the only one again I think.

Thanks Susan no one hurt this time. Will keep them apart now until arrangements can be made. Part of me says keep life simple and stay with just one dog. And another part says but a puppy. Needle teeth that draw blood, house breaking, wild zoomies, teething, I must be crazy for even considering it.

Good no one was hurt. At least with a puppy, he/she should get along with your current pup better.

That sucks. Easy for me to say to try another. I know my wife gives a year return policy. But there are circumstances laid out in contract. If breeder will take jack back and you don't think it'll work out go for it.

I feel for ya Mike. We have 9 dogs I think. I'm told not to count. We have rescues along with keepers. They don't all get along. We do have to split some up. I always thought it's easier to have more than one because they entertain themselves.

3 is enough most of the time and too many some of the time. But I think when we get back to 2, we'll probably stay at that.

Three is where we're at now and it feels like a competition for attention. The one male isn't bad about it but when my wife goes for her favorite chair, the two females will sometimes go at it over who gets the spot next to her.
