Ive been out to joshua tree once for wheeling, but I was by myself so I didn't try anything to difficult, and I've never been to ocotillo, but im down for that too. As for Barstow, never been.

:notsure: I guess maybe its too crowded and don't want to waste time having to pull out a 2wd drive, not sure, but rather not get sent away, plus, Id say we go desert blasting some time, haven't tried that yet

Installing the OME shocks/coilovers tomorrow that I got from a another member. Not a spec of rust or corrosion on my 05 so looks pretty simple, wish me luck. Or tips if you think I'll need them, tons of write ups here.

Loosen your lug nuts BEFORE lifting the truck up. I some how almost always forget that one haha.

Aside from that it's very easy. Three nuts up top, and the one bolt at the bottom. Quite easy to swap out when it's the entire assembly

Top nuts should be 14mm and the bottom bolt is either 17mm or 19mm (I can't remember but I think it's a 19mm). Spray some break free on the bottom bolt today, or get yourself a big breaker bar or impact. That guy is tight.

    You got it right 19mm.

@mac26r if you still got your sway bar on it'll make it a bit easier to remove and install if you unbolt it from the spindle.

I've got a monster breaker bar but I'll hit them with some penetrating spray tonight just to keep the swearing to a minimum tomorrow
