I agree with the balanced diet. Cutting out unnecessary cabs, specifically sugar, is the biggest step in the right direction. And exercise is huge. The broken neck thing will be tough for you. It's all about calories in/calories out. If you can get into any kind of weightlifting, that will flip your metabolism upside down, in a good way. But again, can't out train a bad diet.

I disagree but understand there is more than one way to skin a cat. IMO, do it 100% or not at all. You need to commit to the new lifestyle/diet. Half-assing gets you nowhere. but, again, to each their own. @Me. Projekt needs to try these different approaches and see what works for him.

One of the first things I did was give up soda, its not easy, but I easily lost 10 pounds within 2 months of that.

Lately since I am marrying a vegan my diet has trended more toward a lack of meat protein, I still eat fish though, and every now and again i'll have a burger. I don't eat meat though nearly as much as I used to.

That will work too but you don't have to go all the way to Africa.

I dont put anything from Africa inside my body....

    fool me once.....

    ;)

that's my main problem is sugar.... I love sweet tea, sweet coffee, etc... I love sweet food, junk food, etc.... and SODA.

so I basically just have to cut out eating everything I love. haha

I've seriously thought about just cutting to 1 meal per day.... 1 shitty meal > 3 shitty meals per day right??? hahaha

Committing 100% hardcore is great for some people, but not most. Watch how gym memberships skyrocket in January for those New Year's resolutions. 95% of those people won't be found in the gym come February.

    where can I go?? ;)

my weight has flatlined around 230.. sometimes I eat more, then I digest, and it goes back. I learned (but am not practicing) to not eat until you are full. Eat the serving size. Maybe also try to eat lots of small healthy meals throughout the day. This is more difficult than it sounds

No! You are better off eating 4-6 smaller meals throughout the entire day to keep your metabolism in overdrive.

Annelid and platyhelminth eggs are all over the ground, just tough finding the right one you are looking for. Rub your hands in the dirt and then lick your fingers next time you go camping. You'll probably nab a parasite or 4. :D

I lost a lot of weight when I was younger. That was not very good. I would sleep until noon, eat 1 12" sub from Subway around 2, then that would last me until I slept again.

But adulting happened. The need to pay bills and have responsibilities happened.

Im not saying meal prepping. Im saying have a bunch of carrots and veggies around to snack on. Some people say that keeps your metabolism going.

I need to get some healthy snacks for work.... coffee and goldfish arent too healthy I'm guessing.....

it's uber easy to find... I had never been there before, but I used the coordinates that @fatfurious2 gave me (I also have them saved on my phone if you want them) it literally takes you right to the trail head (at the red gate)

and the gate was open and good to go, we didnt have to drive around it or anything
