I guess it went well. I have a golf ball size hole in my foot about an inch in front of my ankle. It's nasty but I guess it needs to stay open for the week? I have to redress it twice a day, it's not fun. It's deep, picture a golf ball cut in half, that is what was taken out of my foot. It's fuckin' crazy. The surgeon said he is a little concerned about a nerve or something in there, but not much he could do. Necrosis is really scary. It's kinda like that flesh eating bacteria, it just keep going, right to the bone, so I hope he got it all! I go this coming Thursday to see about plastic surgery or something to close it up.

Wow, yeah that stuff is crazy. My mom is a microbiologist at Tufts New England Medical and see that type of stuff.

Yeah, I think I am on the upswing, but these guys can't tell me what recovery duration is. All they say is it can be a VERY, VERY long time. I'm bummed. If I can't ice fish and snowmobile this winter I am going to be smoking a lot of pot.

It's like beer, the first time you have it it probably tastes like shit. Keep drinking it and you'll grow to appreciate it. You didn't drink a super hoppy IPA as your first beer and say, damn this tastes so good. It's an aquired taste, but one you should have aquired by now sally.

 

I think you just made my case for me. My first beer was some shitty Genny product and, it tasted like shit. Now, I no longer drink the shitty beer. My first taste of coffee was black coffee. It tasted like shit so I've moved on to adding sugar and cream. So, by that logic, YOU are the one with the unevolved tastes!
