Just picked these up yesterday. Spent an hour trying to get them to work on the PS4 before I gave up on them. Called tech support this morning and finally got them paired with the USB dongle while I'm at work on my laptop. Now I got to take them home and try it out on the PS4, hopefully I am all set. If not I have Rearviews model being shipped now, be here tomorrow. If these work I'll send those back if not, then I am going the wired route.

Does anybody actually play this on Xbox? Id love to find an active clan to play with as I never got to do any raids or nightfalls in D1 but it sounds like everyone is on PS4

Okay... I've defended Bungie for as long as I could. But I can't take it anymore since this game is complete shit.

I have been an ardent defender of Destiny since the Beta of Destiny 1. I've lived through all the issues that plagued D1 and still enjoyed it. Even at it's worst times we still had fun as a clan just messing around in the raids and PvP.

I was extremely hyped for Destiny 2 and waited (like everyone else) for a game that finally surpassed D1 in every aspect. Watched all the twitch streams and played non stop for the first month or so. Our clan is a tight knit group of people that have played together since nearly the start of D1 so we have a lot of good memories to base our opinion on. D2 is a shell of D1. Power level means nothing, you can reach power level without doing ANY end game activity, PvP is a joke now (subjective I know), and finally the last straw... The prestige raid gives you a FUCKING EMBLEM and an ugly ass shader??? Are you FUCKING KIDDING ME???? And the shader looks worse than the normal mode shader. No power level increase, no new weapons with different rolls, just a fucking emblem.

I realize that D2 is expected to cater to the more casual player but this is a ridiculous direction to take the game. For those of us that are hard core players there is a satisfaction in finishing something that is very hard and being aptly rewarded for your effort. Instead we get a emblem and an ugly shader. And to make matters worse, the tokens you turn in are for the regular raid shit since there is no option for prestige weapons or armor. What's the use in completing it more than once just to say you did it and get nothing for it????
There is a place for casual players to play and hardcore people to play and they both can exist in the same place. But just not in Destiny 2 I suppose.

Bungie you fucked up. GET YOUR FUCKING SHIT TOGETHER AND DO IT FAST. You are going to lose your core player base faster than you can imagine if you keep teasing with what's coming out next and then it turns out to be a total and complete fucking lie. More loot my ass. I've got every single weapon / armor piece in the game and I delete more than I've ever kept since I have no use for it and it always has the same fucking roll on it.

It's truly sad that so many people are going back to Destiny 1 because it was so much better than this. I truly would have waited another year for this game but Activision had them by the Balls so they had to rush it or lose their stock options. So in the process we as a community (that supports them by the way) got screwed more than their precious stock.

Thanks for giving us a broken game with no variation in anything. Same fucking weapons with the exact same rolls. Same fucking armor with the exact fucking rolls. And little to no variation between either.

Oh... and the new expansion coming up??? I wouldn't expect much (if anything) different. Unless they change something quickly, I'm done.

Happy if you like the game but even you have to admit that my points are valid. Please tell me which ones aren't and I'll be happy to explain them in more detail.
I suppose I could just stand around in the tower with all my raid / pvp shit on and let others admire my aura because that's about all there is to do in the game now.

 

Just no point in complaining at this point. Its unfortunate that D2 is in the broken state its in but I take it with a grain of salt. Sooner or later it will be fixed or it will go down as bungos biggest flop.

Im still having fun, i dont play nearly as much as you do. I still have 2 toons to do the raid on as well as a bit more levels and armor to get.
